32 years ago, Kaye Monfort led the inaugural Cattle Baron’s Ball in Northern Colorado. Her leadership and passion transcended into an $11 million legacy that continues to support Northern Colorado and local cancer patients.
Cancer doesn’t discriminate. We have made enormous strides and progress over the years, but still, it continues to hit home for all of us, and all too often. Unfortunately, Kaye herself was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year, and recently passed. Kaye was an incredible leader and invaluable member of our Cattle Baron’s village. She will be greatly missed and our hearts and condolences go out to her family and loved ones.

The American Cancer Society’s 2024 Northern Colorado Cattle Baron’s Ball promises to be a toe-tapping, knee-slapping good time as you give back to our community and the American Cancer Society. Held at the Island Grove Event Center & Centennial Village Museum, this one-of-a-kind evening features great food and drink, dancing, a spectacular auction, and much more. With your support, the American Cancer Society saves lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back against cancer.
The American Cancer Society is working to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. We are the largest private, not-for-profit funder of cancer research in the United States, investing more than $4 billion since 1946. Thanks in part to our contributions, more than 1.5 million lives have been saved in the US in the past two decades. Now, that is a reason to celebrate!
So, brand your calendar for September 21, 2024, grab your hat and dust off your boots for what promises to be a rip-roaring, kick up your heels good time to make a measurable difference in the fight against cancer. We hope to see you there in your boots and bling!
