Dear Cattle Baron’s Ball Supporters,
We hope you’ll join us this year for the 33rd annual Northern Colorado Cattle Baron’s Ball! For more than three decades, our community has supported the mission work of the American Cancer Society and raised over $12 million dollars. This is a significant achievement and has made an enormous impact on improving the lives of people with cancer and their families.
My mother, Kaye Monfort, founded the Northern Colorado Cattle Baron’s Ball, and remained very involved with the event for 31 years. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2023 and passed away in the spring of last year.
While we had attended Cattle Baron’s over the years, the mission of the American Cancer Society and Cattle Baron’s hit home harder than ever after her passing. My husband, Mike, and I are honored to continue her legacy by serving as your 2025 Chairs. We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back to this community and mission that mean so much to all of us, while remembering the wonderful woman who started this event all those years ago.
This year we are “Branding a Cure” in honor of Kaye, but also all of those who have lost a loved one to this disease and all of those that have experienced their own cancer journey. We hope you will join us and support the Cattle Baron’s Ball to ensure the mission work of the American Cancer Society continues. Together we can end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
Gratefully,
Jena & Mike
